The B.Ed. Degree Programme is modified by implementing Credit and Semester system with Grading. It shall be introduced with effect from the Academic year 2011-2012.
Regulations for B.Ed. Programme

The four major aspects of the newly implemented B.Ed. degree programme are - Semesterisation, Credit System, Continuous Assessment, GradingIt shall be introduced by the Mahatma Gandhi University w.e.f. 2011-2012 admission onwards.
Eligibility for admission and reservation of seats
→ Eligibility for admission, norms for admission, reservation of seats for B.Ed. Degree Programme shall be according to the rules framed by the university from time to time.
The duration of each semester shall be 100 days.
The duration of odd semester shall be from June to October and that of even semesters from November to March. There shall be three days semester break after each semester and two months vacation during April and May in every academic year.
The college has an Alumni Association which meets annually on Second Saturday of February. Life membership fee is Rs.100/-. It provides opportunities for the old students to keep in contact with the institution in which they have studied and the members can render valuable service to the institution as resource persons and in conducting various curricular and co-curricular programmes.

Seminars and Workshops
Our training college is very much bound to provide knowledge enriching seminars, workshops, exhibitions, Quiz competitions etc for our teacher-trainees.
A State Level seminar was organized by the college in Psychology on the topic ‘ The Confrontations and Concerns of Adolescents’ The seminar was in 3 sessions ‘-famous resources persons including Dr. Razeena Padmam , School of Behaviural science handled the sessions. Sri. K Anand and Dr. Ajith kumar , Principal Sree Sankara College spoke on the occasion.
Two Day Theatre Workshop was also organized by the college to the first year students, which was a grand success. Special thanks to Dr. C.K Sujeesh and renaissance club members, Sree Sankara college. Our students staged their own script, very enthusiastically.
